The legal process for recovering personal injury damages for persons who have suffered a dog bite injury involves not only recovering the cost of existing medical treatment and pain and suffering, but also recovery of future medical expenses, lost earning capacity, loss of family and social relations, future psychological and/or psychiatric care, and many other complicated forms of damages.

To establish these damages, and prove them in a court of law, the injured party needs to retain a variety of doctors from many different disciplines of medicine, as well as nurses, vocational experts, economists, and other expert witnesses. The cost of retaining these experts can be thousands of dollars per expert. My office advances these costs for my clients. My office has an extensive network of physicians and experts ready to help my clients immediately.

Scars, missing tissue, and disfigurement are major concerns for people who have been attacked by dogs or other animals. Some in juries can be remedied through revision, skin grafts, laser treatment or cosmetic surgery. Other injuries are permanent, and can cause the victim severe emotional and psychological trauma. I help my clients find the best doctors and experts to evaluate their dog bite injuries and find the best course of treatment.

I personally guide my clients and their families through this difficult process of healing and recovering compensation. I ensure that my clients are receiving the highest quality medical care, regardless of their personal financial state, and regardless of whether they have medical insurance.

Injuries occurring from dog bites are not uncommon incidents. An estimated 4.7 million people are bitten by dogs in the United States , ranging from minor bites to major attacks and death. After being bit or attacked by a dog, be sure to report the incident to your local animal control office, make sure that the dog's rabies vaccinations are current, and visit your doctor for follow-up care and treatment. If the dog bite is deep or severe, I urge you to seek immediate emergency medical attention in order to minimize damage and promote healing of the wound. If the dog bite results in any lost portions of tissue or body parts, gather these in a nested plastic bag with ice (but do not let the ice directly touch the body parts) and bring them with you to the doctor immediately. This will facilitate reattachment (if necessary), and will help you heal in the future.
